Get Involved

We welcome parent participation at all grade levels and invite you to become involved at your child's school.

From attending registration to participating in open house activities, parent involvement is essential to the learning and development of the child and produces a positive effect on student achievement. Parents are invited to participate on district committees. Their input helped identify, clarify, and finalize decisions related to the dress code, high school block schedule, athletic policy, and long-range planning committees.

We are particularly proud of the vital role our Parent-Teacher Organizations play. The elementary and junior high parent programs are a strong link between the home and school environment. The high school program has earned national recognition for their work with advisory and the High Schools That Work program.

The fund-raising efforts from these organizations have contributed to the purchase of district elementary playground equipment, classroom materials, teacher supplies, computers and peripherals, beautification, and student-parent-community service projects. The administration and board of trustees have developed a district policy on parent involvement. To view that information, please click here.

Booster club programs at the junior high and high school levels provide parent and community interaction with the athletes and the corresponding programs. Please contact individual schools for further information.
