Perrine Elementary tries to provide our children with the best learning atmosphere possible. One way we do this is by trying to give your children uninterrupted instructional time in the classroom.  We have noticed some things of concern and would like to make a few suggestions that you as parents can do to insure the optimal learning experience for your child.

1. Make sure you communicate to your child before school how he/she is to get home or to the sitter, etc.

2. Make sure your child has lunch money or cold lunch before the leave for school.

3. If your child has an appointment, send a note with him/her so the teacher is aware first thing in the morning.

4. Check to see if your child is ready for school, i.e. homework, jacket, backpack, etc., before they leave for school.

5. If your child is absent please call the office at 733-4288 and your call will be transferred to the teacher's voice mail.

6. All calls for students will be sent to the teachers voice mail which is checked daily by 2:00. After 2:00 we can not guarantee students will receive messages.

7. If you are returning a teachers call, please only do so after school is over.
