Mr. Percifield is Perrine Elementary’s school counselor. His duties include counseling students in crisis situations, counseling students on a regular basis who are struggling with a variety of issues, conducting student discussion/education groups, suggesting resources for needy families, offering outside counseling referrals, and helping students learn social skills at recess, lunch, and afterschool waiting for the bus. He also meets regularly with every class to teach students topics such as bullying, conflict resolution, friendship skills, social skills, careers, and junior high readiness. Mr. Percifield co-chairs the school’s RTI committee, serves on the district RTI committee, and represents the school on the district communication’s committee.
