Honor Choir ~~ The Sunshine Singers
Choir is fun!
We have about 40 students
coming before school
on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 8:10 am to sing!
The Sunshine Singers will be performing at the Festival of Giving on
December 3 at 1:00 pm.
The festival is located at Southern Idaho Landscape (on the highway to
Filer).
The students will be performing at care centers for the elderly the rest
of the day.
Anyone wishing to join The Sunshine Singers Honor Choir in the spring
may attend practices
that begin the first week of February.
Recorders
All fourth and fifth grade students are learning to play the recorder.
Fifth grade students should all have their own recorder by now.
Fourth
grade students are required to have their own by January.
Recorders may
be purchased in the music room for $6.
Mrs. Dickinson has a limited amount she can loan out to anyone who needs
to borrow one.
To
borrow a recorder from the music room, a parent must write a note to Mrs.
Dickinson
and she will give the child a recorder to keep until after the
spring concert.
