Janice Klimes, Media Specialist, administers the school library at Harrison Elementary School to help with the reading and research needs of the students.

The library has an automated checkout system and a catalog search, which is also accessible from the classroom and home.

We have a comfortable reading area and a large work and instructional area. There is a computer area networked with Accelerated Reader® and the online card catalog.

The biggest part of our collection is devoted to the Accelerated Reader® program. We have over 9,000 titles to choose from. Students read to earn points and increase their reading level.

Students are allowed two books at a time, except kindergarten and first grade, unless they have an overdue book. If there is any way Mrs. Klimes can help you or your student, please visit our library.
